Cheap perfumes don’t immediately mean toxic and unsafe; similarly, expensive perfumes don’t necessarily mean safe. However, the chances of cheap perfumes being toxic are higher because these are not necessarily created under strict industry regulations, especially if these perfumes are counterfeit. The perfumers behind cheap perfumes might know fragrance but are not always educated about the toxicity and ecotoxicity of the compounds they use. Legitimate brands, on the other hand, have to spend costs as they go through regulations to convince that their compounds are indeed safe for consumers, and the environment after use and these costs are later reflected as the consumers buy them, getting the status as ‘expensive perfumes’.

Wondering Why Your Favourite Perfumes Got Discontinued? Again?

Perfumes get discontinued for a variety of reasons. One of the reasons is undoubtedly because law bodies like the International Fragrance Association(IFRA) are banning and making their regulations stricter on using certain perfume ingredients. The reason can also be commercial in nature where the particular perfume didn’t do well in the market as expected. One other reason could also be that they want to shift it to a whole vintage status. Perfumes getting discontinued would happen more often if not for their being reformulated. And maybe certain perfumers don’t want to reformulate perfumes with nearly-same ingredients because the attentive consumers will know.

My Bella Vita Perfume Experience – Are They Really Good?

Bella Vita Organic perfumes are good when it comes to the scent, which is luxurious(as marketed) but my experience with its longevity and projection has been poor. I purchased the set of 6 10ml samples back in 2021. I bought the Women’s trial pack, and out of the 6 perfumes, one was unisex, while I personally didn’t enjoy all of the scents, I liked most of them. It had perfumes with floral, green, aquatic, and other notes. Bella Vita Organic’s perfumes are also dupes of other high-end branded perfumes.
